Just in case you haven’t heard, Brookgreen Garden’s Harvest Home Festival Weekend begins October 7, 2023. This weekend festival is family oriented with a great deal of outdoor activities scheduled such as face painting, pumpkin painting, hayrides, scarecrow building, square dancing, live entertainment and plenty more events. The festival takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8 at Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
They’ll also have delicious food trucks including EZ Cheezy, Kona Ice, and Let’s Ride BBQ. Harvest Restaurant, The Old Kitchen Cafe, and The Courtyard Cafe will also be open during the weekend event.

Brookgreen Gardens is a national historic landmark with the most significant collection of figurative sculpture in any outdoor setting by American artists in the world and has the only zoo accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums on the coast of the Carolinas. Founded in 1931, the expansive gardens are the location of various festivals, exhibits and events throughout the year.
