First Saturday Music Festival at 2nd Avenue Pier in Myrtle Beach, S.C., begins April 16, 2012, from 1-10 p.m. Join 2nd Avenue Pier the first Saturday in April for a Music Festival starring Fabulous Sandsations, Owen Poteat “One Man Boogie Band” and Jonathon Roberts.

On April 16, 2012, the Trio Dinner Coastal Culinary Experience takes some of the Myrtle Beach Area’s top Executive chefs and pairs them with local students – one high school and one college – enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program. The three work together to create culinary masterpieces for one amazing meal at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel. A silent auction will be held during the dinner event. Student tickets are $25, Singles are $85, a Couples package is available for $160, an 8-ticket table package is $600 or a 10-ticket table supporter package is $750.
