Taking place the second weekend of February, the Myrtle Beach Marathon is set to go on Saturday, February 14. A great draw for tourists and locals alike, the Myrtle Beach Marathon is now entering it’s 18th year.
As in previous years, the 2015 Myrtle Beach Marathon will again focus on the beautiful scenery that is Ocean Boulevard. But, that’s not all. It will also feature great glimpses of everything from The Market Common, Grand Dunes and Myrtle Beach’s famous “golden mile” and “cabana district” where huge high-rise hotels give way to unadulterated oceanfront views.
But you don’t have to be an Ironman to take part in the event. Runners of all skill and experience levels can get in on the fun. In addition to the traditional race, there is a half marathon, team relay and family fun run.
If you’ve not signed up to participate yet, it’s not too late! While online registration is now closed, you can register in person at race-related events through Friday night, February 13.
And if you’re ready to lace up your running shoes and haven’t booked a place to stay, CondoWorld can provide a host of options such as the Bay View, Breakers, or Caribbean Resorts, to help make your stay in Myrtle Beach a memorable one. You don’t have to take our word for it though, check out our Guest Reviews page to hear what some of our loyal customers have to say about us!
So if you’re visiting this weekend for the Marathon, best of luck and stay safe, as the race is not on a closed course.
