Ooooooh, Santa is coming! We can feel it! There has been sightings all around the area and as far north as Southport, North Carolina. If you time it right you’ll be able to make your introductions to the jolly old soul in the red suit at one of the following locations. We’ll try to list many places but it’s still early so keep an eye on the blog for more updates.

It’s time to make reservations for North Myrtle Beach condos for your visiting family unless you want them to wind up staying with you. We think, actually we know, they’ll have a much better time in any of North Myrtle Beach condos because they’ll have their own space, their own kitchen, and if they choose right, their own swimming pool. You, well you’ll just have your house to yourself.

Santa Claus on the Beach is expected at Myrtle Beach State Park on Saturday, December 1, making his list and checking it twice! Bring your camera for a unique family photo on the beach. Santa will be on the beach for pictures from noon until 3 p.m. Santa also loves pets, so feel free to bring your pet (always on a leash). Holiday activities will include bingo, story times, reindeer relay races and games, and much more! Roast your own marshmallow and hot dogs over a fire! Holiday activities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Get in the holiday spirit with the Annual Murrells Inlet Community Christmas Parade beginning at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 2! Come and enjoy the fun as the parade starts at Wilcox Avenue (Booty’s) and marches down Business 17 with marching bands, beauty queens, dogs, cycles, and lots and lots of goodies for the kids! Immediately following the parade, meet at Morse Landing Park (next to Hot Fish Club) for the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Then bring the children at the park to visit Santa Claus. The Christmas tree will be lit and the Boy Scouts will light a bonfire to take the nip out of the air. Christmas music will entertain the crowd at the park. Don’t miss this free event. We invite friends and neighbors, businesses and clubs to join in the parade. Our number one rule is to make your entry fun for the kids!
