Myrtle Beach will kick off the national bowl season as host of the Myrtle Beach Bowl on December 23, 2024 at 11 a.m., at Coastal Carolina University’s (CCU) Brooks Stadium, home of the Chanticleers. Tickets are on sale now including parking passes for on-campus parking lots.

In its fourth year, the Myrtle Beach Bowl is a matchup on the field of teal between the Coastal Carolina University Chanticleers and the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners. The bowl game, one out of 47 held across the country, will be nationally televised on ESPN. Each conference will participate up to four times between 2020 and 2025.

The inaugural Myrtle Beach Bowl, created by ESPN Events, took place here in 2020 and remains as the headquarters of the only bowl game in South Carolina.

The post-season game is a huge draw that attracts thousands of visitors to the Myrtle Beach area, with several events, including a pep rally, leading up to game time. Families, coaches, players, and fans can also explore more while in town, such as the shops and restaurants of historic downtown Conway near the CCU campus that are decked in festive holiday cheer. The area also features a full schedule of more holiday events, shows, and light shows during this most wonderful time of the year.
