We want to take you out to the ballgame by highlighting all there is to make an experience at Pelicans Ballpark to cheer the Myrtle Beach Pelicans onto a home run. It’s one of the most family-friendly things to do in the Myrtle Beach resorts area!
The Pelicans, a Class A Advanced Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, have been a mainstay in town for more than 20 years. We’re willing to bet that game night will prove to be a tradition you and your family will want to return to, time and again. In 2026 the Myrtle Beach Pelicans underwent a $20 million renovation to their facilities including brand new stadium seats with comfort for fans in mind, an open-air suite behind third base, a new digital scoreboard four times the size of the former one, and new facilities for the players. It will feel like an entirely new stadium for the 2026 season!
There’s not a bad seat in the house, especially with the brand new padded or mesh seats in premium areas, suites, and throughout the stadium. Suites are presented by 357 Raw Coastal Bar, Crave Italian, and Sol y Luna Cantina. There’s also the Sun Cruiser Beach area and Budweiser Deck in the outfield. For the kids, there’s an inflatable area, games, and a playground during long innings.
Every night of the week is a special one, like Tacos and Tallboys on Tuesdays; $2.50 hot dogs on Wednesdays; 1/2 Price on select beer, wine, and drinks on Thirsty Thursdays; Family Fridays with Fireworks; $2 Mich Ultra and $3 wines on Sippin’ Saturdays; and Sunday Fundays. There are also special nights throughout the season, including Military Appreciation Night, Blippi Night, Bark in the Park where you can bring your dogs, Halloween at the Ballpark, and so much more! A night at Pelicans Ballpark is one of the best Myrtle Beach attractions for the entire family.

The season opener will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026. For a Myrtle Beach Pelicans schedule, tickets, and more, visit The Pelicans’ Minor League Baseball website.
