A giant, sandy beach area is perfect for letting your little ones run off some steam while you sip on a cocktail from the bar. Live bands perform nightly during the summer months and they host several family-friendly events throughout the year. Known for its popular summer concert series, The Boathouse is another great stop along the Intracoastal Waterway in Myrtle Beach. The restaurant is home to a large indoor bar and dining room, outdoor dining, beer garden and outdoor bars. Grab some munchies or sandwiches inside or out and sip on a local beer from Independent Republic Brewing Company. The outdoor concert series plays every Sunday from April through Labor Day and they also feature Free Show Fridays throughout the year on the indoor stage.

The Anchor Café at Grande Dunes was awarded the 2019 Best Waterway Bar by the Myrtle Beach Herald Readers’ Choice Awards. The casual open-air bar is open seasonally and offers a quick stop for boaters and waterway visitors for a cold drink and tasty food. The menu features tasty seafood options like the Marker 357 Burger or the Marina Fish Tacos served with fresh pico.
