While you’re in the SC coastal area this holiday season there are some things you just must see and do. Things like live holiday shows and dinner theatre, carriage rides, tree lighting ceremonies and visiting with Santa. When you stay in any one of our many Myrtle Beach condos you’ll be in the center of all these Grand Strand holiday activities. These events come around just once a year so don’t miss them! They’re just steps from the Myrtle Beach condos where you’ll be enjoying your stay.
Complimentary Carriage Rides will be available between 12 and 3 p.m. every Saturday through December 22 at The Market Common. Carriages will stop in front of Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar every Saturday this holiday season and take you on a spin through the complex.
Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland is an amazing exhibit featuring the world’s largest drive-through, fully synchronized LED Christmas light and music show. This year you’ll even be able to drive through a lighted tunnel to the sounds of your favorite Christmas carols like, Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy, Silent Night, Joy to the World and so many others. Your family will love Santa’s Village that will be moved inside Pelican’s Stadium. The village will have your favorite holiday movies playing on the Jumbotron. Be sure to save up for a camel or pony ride or even a trip aboard the train. Warm up near the open fire pit and roast some marshmallows and then get your picture taken with Santa. A full concession stand will serve up all kinds of carnival goodies. Admission is $25.50 per car or family van; $40/activity van or half bus; $50/limo and $5/person in a tour or school bus. Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland will be open from dusk until 10 p.m. daily including holidays at Pelican Stadium in Myrtle Beach. They may be open later on weekends.
Take a ride aboard the Polar Express — it’s how Santa will be riding around the Boardwalk in Myrtle Beach on Saturday, December 15. Live entertainment will be provided by Carolina Vocals, The Well Singers and David Cheney as Elvis. From 6-10 p.m. they’ll offer free outdoor Christmas movies and Polar Express Train Rides for $3.
