The food truck business has been popping up more and more throughout the Myrtle Beach area. Trucks serve gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, fried seafood baskets, traditional beignets, adult freeze pops, pierogies, and almost any other cuisine you can name. We have the Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival for one weekend a year, but that’s just simply not enough! Fortunately, many of our favorites have set events and local businesses where we can find them each week. Here’s a list of Myrtle Beach food trucks we think are worth stopping for.

EZ Cheezy

This woman-owned food truck creates some of the best grilled cheese sandwiches in Myrtle Beach – if not all of South Carolina! Shannon Garrow began her food truck journey in Myrtle Beach in 2018 and continues to serve the Grand Strand with yummy options like the Avocado Smash topped with pepperjack cheese and Guacamole; the Pig Mac with pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, and cheddar; and the classic American with bacon. You can find the bright yellow EZ Cheezy food truck at local events like Nights of a Thousand Candles and Teal Town at the Coastal Carolina University tailgates.

Lobster Dogs

Get a taste of real Maine-style lobster, shrimp, and crab rolls from the Lobster Dogs Food Truck. The truck started in North Carolina in 2015 by a local restaurant owner who wanted to do things differently from the ordinary trucks. Realizing it was tough to find an authentic seafood roll in the Myrtle Beach area, they decided to bring them to the beach for us. Trucks are now available as franchises and serve a long list of cities in the United States. Their menu includes traditional Lobster Rolls, Crab Rolls, and Shrimp Rolls, as well as stuffed avocados with everything from ahi tuna and black bean corn salsa to grilled buffalo chicken and bacon bits. Lobster Dogs is available for private events and regularly serves their rolls at Tractor Supply locations and local events.

Kurbside Katering

Kurbside Katering is a popular Myrtle Beach food truck that’s been rolling through town since 2017. Get your fill of Philly Cheesesteaks, quesadillas, and more at one of our great annual events, like the Food Truck Festival, or just hanging out in a nearby neighborhood. No matter where you find them, the crew at Kurbside Katering can make you a mouthwatering Baconlicious Philly with shaved grilled ribeye, bacon, onions, and White American Cheese on an Amoroso Roll or breaded fried pickle chips served with ranch. Head out and see why they’ve been awarded the Readers’ Choice Award from the Myrtle Beach Herald!

Black Cat Kitchen

Black Cat Kitchen is “a food truck dishing up globally inspired comfort fusion” in the Myrtle Beach area. Owner, operator, and chef, Josie Allen, pours her heart into every menu item and wants to make your “belly happy” with signature dishes like the Korean Hot Chicken and Waffles made with a charred scallion and kimchi waffle served with spicy and sweet glazed tempura-fired chicken and black garlic maple syrup. Other hot ticket items include the Kimchi Hot Dog, Bulgogi Loaded Sweet Potato Fries, and the Dill Pickle Rangoon. Black Cat Kitchen is always on the move, so be sure to check their website or social media pages for locations and updates.

The Fish Shak

The Fish Shak can be found at The Carolina Food Truck Park in Murrells Inlet, along with top annual festivals and catering events. They serve the “best seafood made to order,” like their seafood baskets, fresh tacos, and homemade sides. The Most Awesome Fish Sandwich is a large flounder fillet lightly battered and fried on top of a Hawaiian roll and topped with creamy tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, and pickle chips. Check out the Triple Play Combo with jumbo shrimp, flounder, and grouper fingers served with all of their specialty sauces for a little bit of everything. You’ll love the hot and fresh creations that will have you saying, “yeah, that’s where it’s at.”

Benito’s Rolling Oven Wood Fired Pizza Truck

Benitos Rolling Oven Wood Fired Pizza Truck started as a side gig by the owners of Benito’s Brick Oven Pizza and Pasta in North Myrtle Beach and quickly became one of the area’s most desirable stops. Watch as your favorite pizza combinations are wood-fired on-site in a mobile brick oven for some of the best-tasting pies in town. They offer a variety of pizzas and menu items at each event, fundraiser, or party. Try specialty pizzas like the Jamaican with ham, pineapple, bacon, banana peppers, jerk seasoning and mozzarella, or the Pizza Di Nonna topped with pesto sauce, grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, and mozzarella.

Caribbean Jerk Cuisine Food Truck

Kamal Fraser is the founder and head chef of Caribbean Jerk Cuisine Restaurant and Food Truck. Originally from Jamaica, Fraser brings a “flava to rememba” to all of his creative dishes like the country-style oxtail, Jamaican beef and cheese patty, fried plantain, and his famous Jer Burger. Fraser was also seen on Season 2 of Cooking Channel’s show, “Chef Swap at The Beach,” where he won the Spicy Fusion Challenge. Caribbean Jerk Cuisine is based in Conway, South Carolina, and the food truck is available by appointment, at holiday events, and special functions around Myrtle Beach

Stella’s Homemade Ice Cream Truck

Satisfy that sweet tooth with a treat from Stella’s Homemade Ice Cream Truck! You can find these goodies at their locations in Conway or Murrells Inlet or aboard their traveling food truck. Their small-batch ice cream flavors change throughout the season and are offered in a variety of sugar-free and dairy-free recipes to bring the goodness to almost anyone. The long list of flavors includes Lucky Charms, Key Lime Pie, Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake, Red Velvet, Cookie Butter, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Chunky Road mixed with almonds, chocolate chips, and chocolate ice cream.

Nola’s Stuffed Snoballs, Beignets & Catering

Get a taste of New Orleans right here in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, from Nola’s Stuffed Sno-balls. Dwayne is the owner and operator of Nola’s and hails from The Big Easy, bringing us high-quality treats like his classic beignets that taste like they’re straight out of Cafe du Monde. The menu doesn’t stop with desserts and beignets, though. They’ve also cooked up soft pretzels prepared your way, Voodoo Nachos, a cheesecake stuffed sno-ball, Peaches ‘n Cream Stuffed Beignets, and Voodoo Zapp chips. Taste the “best dessert” winner of the 2023 Irish Italian Festival next time you’re in town!
