Located waterfront on the Intracoastal Waterway, Big Chill is a beauty, boasting a boho-coastal design, complete with wicker and rattan basket lighting, a light, airy layout, wood accents, and live, tropical greenery throughout. The first-floor deck wraps around the trunk of a magical live oak and features a massive waterfront bar, an alfresco dining area, and lounge sectionals; the second-floor balcony features another bar, lounge, and dining areas, and a private speakeasy-like room. It’s an inviting, comfortable house you’ll want to kick back in (inside or out) and enjoy the Southern hospitality served.

Their island-inspired menu is a collection of creative dishes that blend land and sea options. Starters include empanadas, Mexi-Cali corn; Aloha fries topped with spicy mayo, shaved sweet onions, jalapenos, scallions, and tuna poke; Kalua pork sliders, and rum hot honey wings. Salad and sandwich options include the Island Bowl tossed with sofrito-sauced shrimp, hushpuppies, and more, and the blackened mahi Islander sandwich. And signature entrees include the Birria Beef Ramen, ceviches, lobster roll, banana leaf mahi mahi, and much more.
Big Chill Island House Drinks
Big Chill’s bar offers its own menu of delicious tropical libations, such as the Painkilla (think pina colada), Island House Rum Runner, and Sunset Margarita that you can sip on while drinking in breathtaking views of the sunset over the waterway. Or have the bar staff shake things up with a handcrafted cocktail from any of the many rums and tequilas listed.
