Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach is hosting its Annual Festival of Trees from November 1st until December 31. More than 50 trees will be on display throughout the aquarium and adorned in unique ornaments, representing the diversity of the United States.

Broadway at the Beach will hold their 17th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 19, 2011. Join us as we usher in the holiday season with live entertainment, mascot appearances and other special surprises which will all lead up to the grand finale, the lighting of the Holiday Tree. Fireworks will follow at 8 p.m.

Market Common 4th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is Friday, November 25, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Market Common will celebrate the holiday season in Myrtle Beach with an appearance by Santa, live entertainment, complimentary canapes, hot chocolate and more in Valor Park!

Surfside Beach Christmas Tree Lighting to be held on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Surfside Beach Town Hall starting at 7 p.m.

Annual North Myrtle Beach Christmas Tree Lighting takes place
Friday, December 2, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. at McClean Park.The park will be transformed into a brilliant holiday scene with luminaries, decorations and the spirit of Christmas. The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. and include holiday songs and entertainment by local dance groups. Once the tree has been lit, the children are invited to visit with Santa and receive a free bag of candy while the entertainment continues. Complimentary hot chocolate and refreshments served.
