Summer is coming in the Myrtle Beach condos area! Since 1951, the Sun Fun Festival in Myrtle Beach has been a tradition of excitement! Come out and join us for the 71st Sun Fun Festival at Plyler Park in Myrtle Beach May 1-3, 2026 with the whole family for fun, entertainment, and live music. All concerts and events are free. They’ll also offer face painting, vendors, games, a photo booth, free kiddie crafts, and plenty more fun in the sun.

Friday, May 1
Head to Plyler Park for the 71st annual Sun Fun Festival along the Boardwalk in Myrtle Beach! The fun will be held from 5-8 p.m. with live music from Chocolate Chip & Co., free games, face painting, stilt walkers, and plenty of more family fun. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. grab a selfie with the World’s Largest Rubber Duck! The six-story tall “Mama Duck” is part of the YMCA’s efforts to promote Water Safety Awareness Month.
Saturday, May 2
“Mama Duck” will continue nesting at Burroughs and Chapin Park along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk for more photo opportunities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Devon Dove Band will perform live on the Plyler Park Stage from 1-4 p.m. followed by Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot from 6-9 p.m. Kids will love the face painting, stilt walkers, and the Bubble and Flow station from 1-6 p.m. LED Entertainers will perform from 6-8 p.m. and balloon artists will create more magic from 3-8 p.m.
Sunday, May 18
The final day of the Sun Fun Festival in Myrtle Beach will be held from 3-6 p.m. with a live performance from Too Much Sylvia band from 3-6 p.m. Expect more face painting, free games, the Bubble and Flow station, and loads of fun to send off the 71st year in style.
