Local on the Water Bar + Kitchen is a scenic eatery in North Myrtle Beach along the Intracoastal Waterway. The menu at Local on the Water features everything from fresh seafood and sandwiches to flatbreads and wings. Starters include Mussels, Peel and Eat Shrimp, Crab Cakes, Fried Calamari, and so much more. Seafood lovers will feel right at home with the Crab Legs, Blackened Mahi Mahi with Citrus Beurre Blanc, or Carolina Peach BBQ Salmon. Land lovers have five different specialty burgers to pick from as well as six different wing flavors, Buffalo Chicken Flatbread, and BBQ Ribs.
Weekend brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays with a special menu including one dedicated solely to cocktails. Brunch options include Crab Cakes Benedict, Steak and Eggs, Breakfast Burritos, French Toast and more served with home fries, hash brows, French fries, or fresh fruit.
Local Bar offers a wide variety of local and regional brews on tap as well as bottles and beer bucket specials. They have a long list of local cocktails including a Prickly Pear Margarita and Local on the Water Mai Tai made with two types of rum, Amaretto, pineapple juice, sour mix, and grenadine. There are plenty of red, white, and sparkling wines served by the glass or bottle.

Local on the Water offers Happy Hour priced drinks including domestic drafts, house wine by the glass, and well cocktails along with food specials from 4-6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Live music can be heard nightly throughout the summer months and several nights each week throughout the off-season.

The restaurant is open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays; 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays; and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
