When is the Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot?

There will be three Turkey Trots in the Myrtle Beach area to work up your Thanksgiving appetites! This year’s races will be held on November 27, 2025. The 5k portion of the race will begin at 8:00 a.m. The Gobbler Kid’s Dash will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Where is the Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot taking place?

The first race will take place at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at Grand Park Lake Courtyard. The area is home to a large lake, playgrounds, shops, and restaurants, and served as our area’s former Air Force base. Parking is available along the side streets and in the free Farrow Parking Garage near Nacho Hippo. This is one of the most popular races in the area that day.
The next race will be held around Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. Make your way around the shops, restaurants, and waterway views for a fun-filled 5K to get your blood pumping.
The 16th annual Surfside Turkey Trot will follow a course along Ocean Boulevard and the neighborhood streets in that area of the South Strand. Parking is available along Ocean Boulevard and near Surfside Pier.
Each Gobbler Kids’ Dash will begin at 9 a.m. Strollers and pets are not permitted on any of the race courses.
Additional Event Details
Participants in each race will receive a race day t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, and lots of post-race swag. Register early to save! You must register online by 6:00 a.m. Thursday, November 27.
Packet pick-up for the 19th annual Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot (at The Market Common) will be available Wednesday, November 26 from 4-7 p.m. at Dave and Buster’s in Myrtle Beach. You can also pick up your packets prior to the race on Thursday, November 27 from 6:45-7:45 a.m. at Grand Park Lake courtyard at The Market Common.
The 16th annual Surfside Turkey Trot packet pick up will be available Tuesday, November 25 from 4-6 p.m. at Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel; Wednesday, November 26 from 4-7 p.m. at Dave and Buster’s; and the day of the race at the starting line from 6:45-7:45 a.m.
Pack pick-up for the 7th annual North Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot will be held November 26 from 4-7 p.m. at Dave and Buster’s in Myrtle Beach as well as 6:45-7:45 a.m. Thanksgiving morning at the starting line. Parking is available at Crooked Hammock and the surrounding lots in Barefoot Landing.
