The St. John’s Greek Festival is one of the longest standing annual events in Myrtle Beach. Entering its 30th year at the beach, the festival offers fantastic homemade foods, desserts, live music, drinks and so much more. This year’s Greek Festival will be held Thursday, October 14 through Sunday, October 16, 2021 at the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.
Greek Festival Food and Entertainment
Come hungry to the annual Greek Festival in Myrtle Beach! The authentic food selections are endless and prepared with care. Take your pick of entrees like moussaka, pastitsio, spinach or cheese pies and traditional chicken or lamb gyros served with lemon potatoes in the dining hall. More food vendors fire up the grills outside to serve Greek sausages, pork souvlaki and more. Take home a box of your favorite pastries for dessert like baklava and kataifi or stay and share the baklava ice cream sundae! There are plenty of Greek beers, wines and, of course, Ouzo to sip on while you’re there too.
There’s a reason families have flocked to the St. John’s Greek Fest each year. This exciting Myrtle Beach event offers visitors live dance demonstrations, music and a designated kids’ play area with inflatables. Local arts and crafts vendors set up their tents and fill them with everything from handmade jewelry to artisanal olive oils.
This year will be drive-thru only. Hopefully next year, it will return to a full-fledge event with everything listed above.
