Event Details
Spectators and visitors are asked to arrive by 8:30 a.m. to grab a spot along Main Street for the best views of the floats, trailers, and vehicles in the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade which begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. WPDE TV personalities, Ed Piotrowski, Connor Ingalls, and Jennifer Abney will serve as announcers during the parade!
The party doesn’t end with the parade! Enjoy three stages of live music, inflatables and games for the kids, and lots of yummy food – it’s one of the hottest St. Patrick’s Day events on the Grand Strand. This year’s entertainment lineup includes Irish pipe bands, Irish dancers, and plenty of live bands. More than 120 vendors will be there to showcase their creative goods, crafts, and treats. They’ll also have rides and games for kids of all ages.
Stop by Flynn’s Irish Tavern for some traditional corned beef sandwiches or a pint of Guinness or Smithwick’s and hang out for great views of the live performances on one of the stages. Highlights at this year’s event include the Leprechaun and Junior Leprechaun Competition and the hands-free Shepard’s Pie Eating contest. Sign-ups will be held at the stage next to Flynn’s.
