New Businesses in Downtown Myrtle Beach
New businesses and events keep coming to the downtown Myrtle Beach district as part of their revitalization project. Brand new for 2025 is Kaleidoscope Artisan Collective shows off collections from local artists and is home to The Space at Kaleidoscope which hosts game nights, activities, and fun gatherings on Broadway Street. Le Manna Bread, Boteco VIP, The Doly Llama, and The Tasting Room on 9th were all welcome additions to downtown Myrtle Beac. A groundbreaking for a performance art theater was held in the summer of 2024 and will be used by Coastal Carolina University’s drama and performing arts programs as well as the City of Myrtle Beach. The First Friday Art Walk, Nights on Nance, and seasonal events have all seen great success and will continue for 2025.
Downtown Flavortown
Guy Fieri’s Downtown Flavortown will open in Myrtle Beach at the Myrtle Beach Mall where construction and demolition have already begun. Fieri gained notoriety on his various roles across the Food Network shows and boasts “real deal food and good times coming your way!” The restaurant and entertainment venue will have homemade food, bowling, games, an arcade, a tiki bar menu, and loads of fun to keep its guests there all night.
North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex Expansion Projects
The North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex continues expanding and is expected to be completed by September 2025. The expansion includes five soccer fields, six baseball fields, freshwater ponds, walking trails, playgrounds, and picnic shelters. The complex has adult programs, youth programs, special events, concerts, and more throughout each year in the North Myrtle Beach area.
Trader Joe’s is Opening in Myrtle Beach
While many details have become tough to track down, we can confirm that Myrtle Beach will finally be home to a Trader Joe’s store! Construction for the new store began in November 2024 at SayeBrook Town Center near Surfside Beach. Trader Joe’s sells fresh produce, meat, and seafood, and their own brand of packaged, frozen, and prepared foods. They also sell fresh flowers, beer, wine, and a variety of unique items at discounted prices.
Del Taco and Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers
Del Taco has announced plans to open a Myrtle Beach location under franchisee Impeccable Development. The site is located along 544 and includes a sign that promises a new Freddy’s Frozen Custard location as well. Del Taco is a fast-food restaurant that serves burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, burgers, crispy chicken, desserts and more. Freddy’s offers a variety of frozen custards, shakes, malts, specialty custard creations, cheese curds, burgers, and fast-food combinations.
Golfluent
Golfluent has worked diligently to open its doors to the public in early 2025 in the Little River area. The indoor golf facility is one of the first of its kind in the state of South Carolina and offers five state-of-the-art golf simulators powered by Trackman. The location will also have PXG master fittings, a putting green, apparel, merchandise, and indoor activities to improve your golf game. Golfluent is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays.
The Mashie Golf Institute
Joining the indoor golf fun is The Mashie Golf Institute located in central Myrtle Beach. The indoor golf training center has a driving range, simulators, a short game complex, putting greens, training aids, a lounge, daily lessons, and club fittings. They are open to both locals and visitors seven days a week.

357 Brewers Coming in 2026
Brewers 357 is a $6.5 million brewery opening along the Intracoastal Waterway at the Grande Dunes Marina in Myrtle Beach. The 10,000-square-foot facility will produce craft beers on-site using a 15-barrel brewing system. Nick Vaugh and Spadaccini Hospitality Group are behind the project and are the team that opened the popular Crave Italian Oven, 357 Raw Coastal Bar, and Sol y Luna Cantina.
