What’s New at Barefoot Landing?
It seems like every year there’s something new opening in North Myrtle Beach and this has been an exciting year at Barefoot Landing.
Lucy Buffett’s LuLu’s opened to rave reviews around town. Lulu’s at Barefoot Landing features great waterway views and their very own beach! The menu features fresh seafood selections, grilled burgers and sandwiches, seafood baskets, a wide variety of desserts, and more. Standouts include fresh blue crab claws; Lulu’s Famous Seafood Gumbo; The “Pa-menna” Cheeseburger and Crab Melt. The drink menu includes frozen concoctions, margaritas on the rocks, draft and bottled beers, wines, and plenty of specialty drinks. It’s always wildly prized for being an allergy-friendly restaurant in the Myrtle Beach area!
Blueberry’s Grill opened in August 2018 and serves breakfast and brunch dishes with a unique twist. Check out options like Chicken and Waffles with sugar pears; Chorizo Benedict; or Bananas Foster French Toast. They also offer more traditional dishes like eggs benedict, skillets, biscuits and gravy, and much more.
Taco Mundo Kitchen Y Cantina serves Mexican and Mexican-American cuisine at its Barefoot Landing location. Start off with a tequila flight or a specialty margarita with an order of street corn and guacamole. Then order one of 15 different tacos offered or a rice bowl with your choice of vegetables, fried chicken, shrimp or Carne Asada. Whatever your choice, you’re sure to leave full – and your wallet won’t mind the reasonable prices!
Attractions
There are plenty of fun entertainment options at Barefoot Landing – it’s hard to decide what to do first. If you’re a music lover Alabama Theatre and House of Blues are the perfect spots to see a live show. Alabama Theatre is home to ICONIC, The South’s Grandest Christmas Show, and special guest concerts and events. House of Blues brings in some of the biggest names in the music industry as well as tribute bands, a murder mystery dinner theater, and a Gospel brunch.
Outdoor enthusiasts will love strolling along the Intracoastal Waterway and checking out the local wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for a gator sighting or head over to Alligator Adventure for an up close and personal visit with the world’s largest crocodile, parrots, reptiles, lemurs, and much more. T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station gives visitors at Barefoot Landing the chance to pose for pictures with cuddly lion cubs or apes.

Barefoot Landing restaurants serve everything from handmade pasta dishes and French pastries to the freshest seafood around and juicy burgers. Flying Fish Public Market and Grill feels like you’re stepping right into Seattle’s Pike’s Place Public Market with the catch of the day being tossed in the air. Umberto’s at Barefoot Landing has been a staple for as long as visitors can remember and serves Pittsburgh-style Italian cuisine. Wild Wing Café has the “best wings south of Buffalo” and with flavors like Flaming Parmesan, Red Dragon and Jalapeno Cheddar you’ll see why!

Exploring the complex can leave you thirsty. Stop in at Bully’s Pub for a great selection of craft beers on tap or visit Kentucky Moonshine and bring home a bottle of fruit vodka or moonshine. Duplin Winery offers sweet Muscadine wine samples and a great staff to walk you through each tasting while Coastal Wine Boutique offers a unique selection of wines from around the world.
Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth
Got a sweet tooth? You’re going to love the sweet treats offered all over Barefoot Landing. Sweet Molly’s Creamery serves more than 20 different flavors of ice cream on any given day and hand dipped apples are served with a song at The Fudgery. Grab your camera and pose for a few pictures at It’Sugar where their wall-to-wall candy displays allow for endless candy combos. Other spots to indulge your sweet tooth include Wee R Sweetz, The Crafty Cow and Riverstreet Sweets.
Shops at Barefoot Landing
There are more than 50 specialty shops and stores at Barefoot Landing where you can find a gift or souvenir for anyone on your shopping list. PURPLEologist is your home for everything PURPLE and Hopeologist offers inspiration in the smallest things. At Pepper Palace you can stock up on almost any type of hot sauce you can think of and Kentucky Moonshine stocks up on fruit vodkas and moonshines. Christmas Mouse is open year-round with a huge selection of ornaments and festive decorations.
Find something to wear to the beach and beyond at Ron Jon Surf Shop, Southern Connection, Tarra Grinna Swimwear and Sandy Beach. More of our favorite spots include The Olive Shoppe, The Mole Hole, Pure Lure, M.R. Ducks and Crabby Jack’s General Store.
Events at Barefoot Landing
There’s always something exciting going on at Barefoot Landing. Their annual fireworks shows can be seen each Monday during the summer season as well as during holidays and special events. Summerfest is held during the summer months and features live music and entertainment, stilt walkers, balloon art and plenty of fun for the whole family. Barefoot Landing hosts other fun events for Halloween, the annual tree lighting and so much more.
