Ober Gatlinburg is open 365 days a year and offers different events and amenities for each season. The options for Ober Gatlinburg parking are either downtown or mountain parking for $8 per vehicle and then start enjoying all the fun that the top attraction in the Smoky Mountains has to offer!

At Ober Gatlinburg, prices vary for each ride as they are based on tickets. However, there is so much to do at Ober Gatlinburg that they offer wristbands that include multiple attractions.

The basic wristband is $34 for an adult and $29 for kids.

The premium wristband is $44 for adults and $39 for kids.

Kids under the age of 5 are free for all activities as long as they’re with an adult.

Winter Activities

Winter Ober Gatlinburg

Ober Gatlinburg is known for its snow! During the Winter, this is the best place to go for Gatlinburg Skiing and Snow Tubing. They offer a Cubbies Snow Zone, ice skating and ice bumper cars for kids as well as the carousel and arcade.

The Wildlife Encounter, the Mountain Coaster and the Alpine Slide are all open during the winter as well for you to enjoy, as well as the Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway.

If snow is more your thing, Ober Gatlinburg offers skiing and Gatlinburg snowboarding lessons, rental equipment and season passes. Take advantage of the chairlift and Terrain Park at one of the many events held during the winter! You won’t want to miss Ladies Night on the Slopes and College Night on the Slopes.

Ober Gatlinburg also offers Church on the Slopes and an annual Miss Winterfest Pageant. In January the annual Ober Rocks throwback event is held! Listen to the Slopeside DJ play your favorite jams until midnight while you enjoy a special Ober Rocks Ski Session!

Spring Activities

Spring Ober Gatlinburg

During the Spring, you can still access the Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway, the Mountain Coaster and Alpine Slide and the Rock Climbing. It’s still a great time to bring the kids too as they have the Wildlife Encounter, Maze, Kiddie Land park, Carousel and Arcade during this season.

If there’s still snow on the ground, you can still go Snow Tubing, but if not you can still enjoy indoor ice skating and bumper cars!

Mayfest occurs in Spring as well, which includes tons of children’s activities, a Bier Garten, local artisan booths, music, an uphill 5K race, games, an eating contest and the May Pole Ceremony.

Summer Activities

Summer Ober Gatlinburg

During the Summer the Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway runs every twenty minutes, so make sure to grab a ride and check out the NEW Summer Tubing feature at Ober Gatlinburg! You can also ride the Alpine Slide, where you slide down the mountain, and the Mountain Coaster. If you’re up for more adventure you can hit the off-road trail or climb the rock wall too! If you’re bringing the whole family with you to Ober Gatlinburg this summer, the kids will love the mini golf, chair swings, carousel, arcade and the Kiddie Land park.

Fun for all ages is the AMAZE’N MAZE where you try to find the word “MAZE”  in the maze, the quickest to win a prize and also the Wildlife Encounter with black bears, river otters, raccoons, bobcats, owls, flying squirrels, skunks and snakes.

Don’t forget about your water fun at Ober Gatlinburg! There are three waterslides for you to choose from while you’re here. And if you like your water a little more solid…Ober Gatlinburg offers indoor ice skating and ice bumper cars even during the Summer!

Fall Activities

Fall Ober Gatlinburg

Taking a ride on the Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway during the fall is absolutely beautiful! Only during the fall, Ober Gatlinburg offers a color-blindless viewer to help those who are color-blind see the amazing colors of fall in the Smoky Mountains. They also have the Mountain Coaster and Alpine Slide open as well as the chair swings, mini golf, maze, carousel, arcade and Kiddie Land park. Don’t forget to visit the Wildlife Encounter before hitting the rock wall.

If there is already snow on the ground by the time you get here, you can enjoy some Gatlinburg snow tubing! If not, there’s always the indoor ice skating and ice bumper car. During the fall season, Ober Gatlinburg has an Oktoberfest where you can enjoy music, food and the Bier Garten as well as games and face painting.

Year-Round Dining & Shopping

Throughout the year, Ober Gatlinburg has many dining and shopping options for you as well! Downtown, you have coffee available at Ski Mountain Grind Haus and sandwiches at Leconte Deli. Also located downtown is the Tramway Gifts Shop, the Chocolate Monkey, Pepper Palace, the Silver Galleon, the Green River Gallery and the Spa to Go.

Once you’re on top of the mountain you can dine at the Seasons of Ober Restaurant with live music, a dance floor, homemade sides and a seasonally-inspired menu. You can also visit the Ober Loft Lounge for your favorite beers, top-shelf spirits and wine, as well as a wide variety of food. There is also the Sidewalk Café and the Fudge Shop on the mountain, in addition to Slopeside Apparel and Gifts, Ski Mountain Sports, the Galleria Gift Shop, O’Bears Playhouse, Beer Necessities, Family Crest, Jensen Imaging, and the Leather Shop.
