St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and the Myrtle Beach area is gearing up for parties, parades, bar crawls, and plenty of traditional Irish fare. If you’re visiting our neck of the woods for St. Paddy’s Day this year, here are some great restaurants and events to check out, all near the best condos in Myrtle Beach!
Flynn’s Irish Tavern

Flynn’s Irish Tavern will open bright and early this St. Patrick’s Day – 8:00 a.m. to be exact! They’ll start serving a limited menu including several of your favorite Irish foods including corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, corned beef sandwich, shepherd’s pie, and more. Enjoy many Irish beers on tap or one of their dozens of Irish whiskeys. They’ll have bagpipers and live music throughout the day. Flynn’s is located near the Ocean Bay Club at 421 Main Street in North Myrtle Beach.
36th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival

Kick-off St. Patrick’s Day celebrations a little early at the 36th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. The parade will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14 and the festival will follow. The street is lined with great food and drink vendors, two stages with live music, artisans, local businesses, a fun zone for kids, and plenty of festive fun. Be sure to stop by Flynn’s Irish Tavern for a traditional pint!
O’Keefe’s Irish Pub annual Block Party

O’Keefe’s Irish Pub will host their annual parking lot party beginning at 9:00 a.m. with Kegs and Eggs. Live bagpipers, Irish bands, and music by James Hood will be performed throughout the entire day. They’ll serve up plenty of Irish grub like Corned Beef and Cabbage, Irish Stew, Shepherds Pie, Reubens, and Pastrami. Grab a pint or cocktail at the bar inside or at the beer trucks outside. O’Keefe’s host events inside the restaurant and under tents outside all day long along with Promo Girls. The Irish Pub is located at 834 Inlet Square Drive in Murrells Inlet.
Finn McCools

Finn McCools hosts one of the most popular block parties around Myrtle Beach each year! Join them all weekend long through Tuesday, March 17 for live music and fun. They have a huge tent out in the yard with two live pipe bands and live music from Victor Cunneen beginning at noon on St. Patrick’s Day. Grab a bite to eat and a pint from the bar or outside at the beer carts and enjoy the day. Finn McCool’s is located at 501 Lake Arrowhead Road, near the Sea Watch Resort in Myrtle Beach.
Molly Darcy’s Irish Pub and Restaurant

Join Molly Darcy’s on the beach in North Myrtle Beach for an unforgettable St. Patrick’s Day experience. They’ll have live performances, giveaways, green beer, and a very special Irish menu. The Irish bar has an expansive oceanfront deck with plenty of seating as well as indoor space to order a Guinness at the bar. Molly Darcy’s is located at 1701 S. Luck of the MarshWalk

Dress in your best Leprechaun gear for the Luck of the MarshWalk party and you could win cash prizes! The 11th annual event will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 with drink specials, Irish-inspired dishes, live music, and a final costume contest to win cash prizes with judging at 9 p.m. The restaurants at the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk will be decked out in green and will host plenty of live bands. Explore all that the MarshWalk has to offer in your favorite shamrocking outfits.
St. Patrick’s Day “Cheers” Crawl at The Market Common

Pick up a LepreCommon BINGO card beginning on March 1 and make your way around the shops and restaurants at The Market Common for a “Cheers” Crawl through March 17. You can pick up your BINGO card at the management office then participate in fun challenges to win your card. These challenges include trying the fried pickles at Tupelo Honey, grabbing a burger at 810 Bowling, ordering the Lucky Charms Ice Cream at Coldstone Creamery, finding a new-to-you-store, and much more fun.
The complex is also hosting a Lepre-Common St. Patrick’s Day Crawl. 10+ restaurants and bars will participate with themed drink specials, green decor, and plenty of fun all night long. Join The Market Common from 5:30-11 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 and dress up as your best leprechaun and you could win your very own pot of gold! The management office will be handing out green hats, beads, glasses, and St. Patrick’s Day-themed swag from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. that evening.
