Finding delicious seafood can be more difficult than the actual cooking itself. However, if you are in Myrtle Beach, you are in luck! There are over 2,000 restaurants to choose from in the Grand Strand, and many of them serve mouth-watering seafood. Here are the top 5 places we recommend!
Sea Captain’s House
This amazing oceanfront restaurant was once a beach house in the 1930’s. However, for the last 50 years it has been known as an award-winning seafood restaurant. It’s a favorite to locals with low-country appetizers, seafood, salads, and desserts. The restaurant is inviting and makes all guests feel like they are at home. You can enjoy a wonderful meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, seven days a week. Some of the most popular entrees include sea island shrimp, jambalaya, crab cakes, and low country crab casserole.

Mr. Fish is a big hit for locals and visitors with the freshest seafood in town. A typical evening at Mr. Fish includes blackened grouper, seared tuna, and fried flounder. There are also many other favorites including their unique sushi rolls. Sit back, relax and enjoy the full bar while you eat your delicious seafood. The atmosphere represents a laid-back beach feeling, which will give you the true feel of being on vacation.

The Wicked Tuna restaurant is one of the newest to the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk. While the drive to the Inlet may seem a bit long, it is totally worth it. As you walk into the restaurant, you will notice a contemporary twist with vibrant sea blue walls and amazing artwork. We recommend taking advantage of the outdoor patio that has one-of-a-kind views. The menu has a variety of seafood options available including shrimp and grits, oysters, crab cakes, tuna, and lobster.

Flying Fish Public Market and Grill is located along the Intracoastal Waterway at Barefoot Landing. It’s a great place to relax and unwind after a long day at the beach or out shopping. Want to pick out your fish? The restaurant is famous for tossing the fresh catch out the customer and having the customer throw it back, letting the chef know how they’d like it prepared. Other menu items include a low country boil, snow crab, clams, mussels and more.
