Located on 2533 Teaster Lane, Pigeon Forge Snow, is the real thing! A machine creates the snow, real snow (!) but no harsh chemicals are added. It’s like being in a snowy environment, even during the hottest months of the year.
Opening this year, it’s already become one of the best Pigeon Forge attractions and it has the distinction of being the very first indoor snow complex in North America.
What’s Inside
A giant 35,000 square foot building houses all the fun and can hold about 300 people. Though there are lines out the door at times, visitors claim it’s well worth the wait.
Plunge down 200 feet of snow on inner tubes. Once you reach the bottom, a conveyor belt will take you back up to the top. Once you’ve experienced the tubing, check out the their separate snow area where you and your friends and family can have a serious snowball fight or build snow men and women.
It’s open from 10 to 10 every day, though call ahead or visit their website, as at times, this can change. It’ll cost you about $22 bucks an hour, but if you buy online, you can get a small discount.
Dress in layers. Temps are at a steady 65-70 degrees, but flying through snow on an inner tube may be a bit brisk if you’re cold-natured. Otherwise, come as you are!
From ages 3 to 103, this is the place to have some spectacular snow tubing fun. If you’d rather sit out and watch, there’s a place you can do that, complete with food and drinks.
