Fall is a great time for a beach vacation and if you’re crazy about football, basketball, golf, tennis, baseball (or just a huge fan of all things sports), you will want to take a seat at one of these top sports bars in North Myrtle Beach, where TVs and taps abound to accommodate game time. Now you’ll just have to narrow it down to which one is a winner for you – or maybe you will want to test out a few! Here are some of our favorites including details about their food, drink specials, and more.

Oscar’s Food & Spirits

4101 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, SC

This sports bar landmark first opened in 1988, when owners Oscar “Freddie” Williams and his wife, Carla, migrated to the beach from Pittsburgh. Although Oscar’s may favor the Steelers fans for that reason, they welcome fans of all teams to come cheer and have a beer from any of the 20 they have on tap. With pool tables, darts, and video games, Oscar’s is also family-friendly. The popular North Myrtle Beach restaurant was recently renovated but still holds all the charm of the wall-to-wall sports memorabilia and the same familiar faces you’ve come to know throughout the years! Their brand-new menu includes a wide variety of specialty burgers, pizzas, more than a dozen wing flavors, and highlights like the Oscar’s Philly Steak sandwich and Carla’s Smothered Chicken.

Dagwood’s Deli & Sports Bar

4101 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach

One of a duo of Dagwood’s area locations, this sports bar in North Myrtle Beach is the newest, open since 2022, with the original location dating back to 1988. The Myrtle Beach location has since closed but regardless of which Dagwood’s you choose to drop by, they are all famous for their hefty deli sandwiches, subs, and cheesesteaks piled high on fresh breads, munchies, a long lineup of craft beers, wall-to-wall TVs, and Southern hospitality. Their wings are worth a shot too – try the hotyaki! You’ll be dreaming of the “Smokin’ Joe” Frazier Fries topped with ranch, BBQ, cheeses, and bacon long after you leave town.

The Grumpy Monk

4200 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, SC

This massive sports bar, one with three locales, boasts flat-screens at every turn of the two-level floor plan, so there’s not a bad seat to catch the game in the house. During the game, flip through the Monk’s lengthy craft beer menu and down a round. The kids will appreciate the arcade games playable by a game card. And don’t forget to feast on their famous wings, nachos, smash burgers, hand-rolled sushi, and more. This is a great place to cheer on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers! They have additional locations in Carolina Forest off Highway 501 and in Broadway at the Beach.

Calhoon’s 19th Hole Saloon

2203 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, SC

This North Myrtle Beach sports bar, owned by namesake Michael Calhoon, a retired chief deputy from outside of Pittsburgh, opened only a few years ago, but it hasn’t taken long to be wildly popular, known for being family-friendly and serving big portions. Calhoon is a huge college sports fan, and it shows, with the saloon’s 15 60-inch flat-screen TV, a Jumbotron, cornhole on the patio, and plenty of beer offerings. The food menu features Calhoon’s Pittsburgh roots, including Braveheart brand burgers and steaks, square-cut pizza, Pittsburgh-style salads, Ohio Valley sandwiches, wings, and more bar munchies.

Twin Peaks

10177 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC

Located on the southern cusp of North Myrtle Beach in the Myrtle Beach Mall is this franchise sports bar worth mentioning. Twin Peaks is a gameday mecca, with wall-to-wall TVs mounted at every angle showing live football, basketball, hockey, and soccer games, plus boxing and UFC fights. Expect to be served ice-cold, below-freezing draft beer, and a food menu of hand-smashed burgers, beer-battered chicken, hand-cut steaks, street tacos, and wings served boneless, bone-in, naked, or breaded, then house-smoked, grilled, and tossed in your choice from 12 sauces or dry rubs. Twin Peaks also houses an exclusive Topgolf Swing Suite, complete with a comfy lounge to play, multiple massive virtual screens, and a wide selection of arcade games.

Mulligan’s Sports Bar & Restaurant

1359 US 17, Little River, SC

A beloved waterside sports bar in Little River, Mulligan’s has reigned as having the best pub food on the Grand Strand since 1987. It has also doubled as a haven for sports fans on gameday and golfers after playing a round at any of the four nearby courses. Grab a seat, indoors or out, catch your game, and down a cold beer along with their famous grub. Mulligan’s grub is not your average bar food and boasts crab cakes, shrimp scampi, and Chicken Cordon Bleu among their special entrees. They also serve wings, quesadillas, gourmet salads, sandwiches, and burgers along with great happy hour specials from 4-6 p.m. daily.

Bully’s Pub & Grill

4868 US 17, North Myrtle Beach, SC

This relaxed sports bar in Barefoot Landing is widely known among sports fans for its abundance of TVs, beer selection, and delicious pub grub. Lunch and dinner are served indoors or on the lakeside deck; more amenities at Bully’s include pool tables, darts, and Golden Tee and bowling games. Order up the Bully’s Basket complete with French fries, tater tots, sweet potato fries, and onion rings, or the “Bully’s famous” cheese sauce then move on to sandwiches, burgers, salads, and wings.

Buffalo Wild Wings

518 Highway 17 North, North Myrtle Beach, SC

This franchise sports bar situated in Gator Hole Plaza lives up to its name, with a plethora of wings and tenders, and more than 30 sauces to choose from. Or opt for any of the burgers, sandwiches, dips, wraps, or salads. Cheer your team on with a beer, played out on any of the big-screen TVs, and download the Buffalo Wild Wings app for more ways to play, such as trivia, while you’re there. The kid-friendly North Myrtle Beach restaurant will put on any team you like while you’re there!
