The NFL and NCAA football seasons are upon us and if you’re lucky enough to be in the Myrtle Beach area during the weekend, you’re in luck. You may find yourself worried “where can I watch some football?” but have no fear!
Myrtle Beach is home to more than 1,500 bars and restaurants so it can be tough to decide where to find the best watering holes for all of the games (and we’re not just talking football). We’ve narrowed it down to a list of the hottest sports bars in town to watch the Gamecocks, Tigers, and Panthers – or whatever team you’re cheering for!
Bumstead’s Pub

Bumstead’s Pub is located in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach and is easily accessed from the beachfront hotels in that area. Pine Lakes Tavern

Pine Lakes Tavern is a popular sports bar with locals and tourists alike and once you take a glance and their menus, you’ll know why. This non-smoking bar offers a new menu daily using the freshest ingredients along with favorite like creamy crab dip, Carolina pulled pork and house made pimento cheese spread. Calli Bakers Firehouse Bar & Grill

After a few moves throughout the years, Calli Baker’s Firehouse Bar and Grill opened its 6,400 square foot Lake Arrowhead location in 2017. The building is decorated with police, fire, EMS and public safety memorabilia and features five functioning garage doors to enjoy the perfect football season weather – even when you’re inside! Food menu highlights include the Smoking Rib Platter, Firehouse wings, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, steaks and much more. Handley’s Pub & Grub

The family-owned Handley’s Pub & Grub opened in 2004 in the Carolina Forest section of Myrtle Beach and quickly became a sports bar staple in the area. Perhaps it’s the huge selection of beers (68 to be exact) or the tasty menu with unique twists on English pub favorites. Whatever the reason, you’ll love this sports bar! Oscar’s Food & Spirits

Although it’s not technically in Myrtle Beach, it’s impossible to leave Oscar’s Food and Spirits from this list of best sports bars! The Pittsburgh-themed bar has been a fan favorite since 1988 and is home to sports memorabilia and unique artwork throughout the large bar and dining area. It’s got more than 90 TVs (including a few in the restrooms!) and welcomes all sports fans. Feast on treats like pizzas, specialty subs, salads (try one Pittsburgh-style), wings and appetizers. No trip to North Myrtle Beach is complete without visiting Oscar’s!
