Taste Gatlinburg’s Best Fall Fare in September

Taste of Autumn 2022: Current Event Details Haven’t Been Released Yet

The event details for the current year have not been released yet. As soon as they are available to us, we will update this page. Until then, you can view the past details for Taste of Autumn below.

Gatlinburg Autumn Festival

If you’ve ever been to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains during the fall, you know how magical it is. The weather is crisp and clean, the water cool and clear and the colors of The Smokies are unbelievable. The blue mist that settles over the mountains is even more mysterious and beautiful when its foliage is filled with nature’s bright yellows, oranges, reds and greens.

It is truly one of the best times of the year to visit Gatlinburg and one of those reasons is the food. Any foodie will gobble up the grub that’s offered during the Annual Taste of Autumn. The event, which has been going on for over 20 years, is a tradition and one that serves the United Way of Sevier County. Part of the proceeds go to serve residents of Sevier County.

Event Info for Taste of Autumn

This year the event promises to be bigger and better than ever. Mark your calendars and schedule your stay with Condo-World soon as tickets go quickly. One of Gatlinburg’s best events, this year it’s on Thursday, September 12, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Located in the Tennessee Ballroom at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, general admission is $30.00/person or reserve a table of 10 for $300.00. Corporate VIP packages are $500 and include priority seating and a meet and greet with the talent, along with wine on the table.

This year’s event features the Eagles’ tribute band, On the Border. There’s also entertainment from Dolly Parton’s Stampede and comedians to make the food fair funny! In 2018, there were over 20 vendors and this year, many will return, such as:

  • Anakeesta — the resort has restaurants such as BeaverTails, A Little Coffee and the Cliff Top Grill & Bar.
  • Landshark Bar & Grill — a downtown Gatlinburg landmark with some the best burgers in Tennessee.
  • Proof of the Pudding, the center’s exclusive caterer since 1979.
  • Texas Roadhouse – a steakhouse located in the heart of Gatlinburg.
  • Wine-a-Little & Tapas Bar (the Rampant Lion) – a local and vistor’s favorite put that serves up plant based fare, gourmet food, wines and Irish whiskey.

Don’t worry, you’ll also have dessert from Ben & Jerry’s. Pizza, fried southern food, sandwiches and subs will show up in the extensive menu. The only “problem” is choosing how much you can eat!

Check the Gatlinburg’s Convention center website closer to the event as participants are subject to change and other new ones will be added.
